Our mission at West Portage Little League is to operate with one purpose in mind - to make this a rewarding place for all of our 600+ children to play baseball and softball, to make friends, and to develop positive, long-lasting memories. We achieve these goals with the help and dedication of our wonderful volunteer, parents and sponsors who understand the importance of youth sports and the positive roles that can play in a child's life.

This is a league organized and run entirely by volunteers. West Portage Little League (WPLL) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (Tax I.D. No. is 23-7063313), and its officers and members have all volunteered to keep this league going and be the best in the region. Our complex and all you see are the result of dedicated parents, volunteers, and sponsors who have stepped up and donated their time, talents, and resources to create a complex exclusive to WPLL.  All of our coaches are volunteers who are donating their time to try and provide a positive environment for the kids.  These people are the lifeblood of our organization and without them, WPLL could not exist. Through the efforts of our wonderful families and a very generous community, we have developed a solid foundation for this league, and will continue to grow and thrive for years to come.

The Board of Directors welcomes you to our league. We ask for your support in making this a special place for our children to play and that the example of good sportsmanship starts with us, the parents. Although most of our games are competitive, and some teams win and others lose on occasion, we must never forget that we are here for the kids who play. It is their time to shine, make new friends, and to create positive memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all who coach, our team parents, score keepers, sponsors, and those of you who come out each week to support your children and this league.
